Announcing my new serial novel, "IN REACH OF HEAVEN"

In which I share my newest serial novel

Hello everyone,

While I have been slowly trying to acclimate to life in my MFA program, I am at a point where I am not yet writing my thesis novel for it. Because of that, I decided to return to something I started writing, but have never finished, and share that story with you here on Substack.

The story is called In Reach of Heaven, which is a young adult, low-fantasy novel that follows the story of Maya Summers, who exists in the shadow of a holy mountain said to house the domain of Heaven. However, her people’s holy men, known as Luminates, safeguard passage into Heaven—and as time runs out for Maya’s grandmother, who is nearing the end of her life, Maya must challenge her idea of faith, the afterlife, and the holy men who guard the stairway to Heaven.

This novel is going to be serialized simultaneously here on Substack as well as on my Inkitt profile.
